Grab this unique opportunity to meet schools, families and communities who were are working with to end exclusion of children with disabilities in education. Get opportunity to interact with them and experience the impact FAE is having in the lives of children with disabilities.

On a FAE’s immersion trip, you’ll learn firsthand how FAE works. Our immersion trip is ideal for you or your favorite group. Whether it’s your college club or large family, we can connect you to a project in the community. These trips are ideal for those who want to immerse into the community life and creatively serve alongside local residents.

Experience the beautiful African countrysides. Spend time in one of Tanzania’s most pristine natural environment such as Zanzibar, climb Mount Kilimanjaro, swim in the Chemka natural hotsprings,  meet the real maasai people of Enjoro or explore the Ngorongoro Crater.

Sample Itinerary

Day One – Meet with FAE staff for orientation.

Day Two – Travel to some villages to meet children, volunteers, schools, families and communities who are working with FAE to end exclusion of children with disabilities in the mainstream schools. You can choose to spend any number of overnight days in one of our a community member’s home or just have lunch at one of the community member’s home.

Day Three – After trip to the community, you can choose to have just one day or several days of visiting touristic activities.

Day Four – Travel back to your home country.mt-kili

Note: If you are in Tanzania you can make a one day trip to the schools to meet with children with disabilities and families. This is an opportunity for you to get to know our activities, local communities and enjoy the wonderful hospitality of the Tanzanian people!
